WHAT IS ZAK-PAC?

ZAK-PAC (Zakarak Performing Arts Convention) is an exhilarating and intensive theatre training program for students in grades 6 thru 12 providing up-close and personal instruction by professionals from top Regional Theatres, Universities, Broadway and Television!

You create a personalized weekend training program to suit your needs and abilities by choosing from a wide variety of group classes offered on levels from beginner to advanced as well as one-on-one private coaching sessions for your upcoming college or theatre audition. Students can also choose to compete in front of a panel of judges, all professionals in the business, in the categories of voice, drama, and dance, and each will receive constructive feedback and comments from the panel. The weekend culminates in a Finale Showcase Event performance where several top finalists from each competition category will be announced as a way to showcase the outstanding work and/or notable talent seen by the judges and teachers throughout the weekend. Top Finalists will perform at the Finale Showcase Event in front of a larger panel of judges and prizes will then be awarded to one top pick per category as well as one overall ZAK-PAC participant. Scholarships to future ZAK-PAC conventions will be awarded to runners-up. The Finale Showcase Event is a great close to an exciting weekend.

Whether you want to pursue a career in the arts OR you just want to become a better performer for your school, community theatre productions, or college auditions, ZAK-PAC helps you gain the training, confidence and inspiration you need.
