Susan Riley Stevens (teaching: DRAMA) has worked as an actress and teacher for over 20 years, appearing in numerous theatres across the country. In the Greater Philadelphia Area she has been seen in productions at the Walnut Street Theatre, Arden Theatre Company, 1812 Productions, People’s Light and Theatre Company, Act 2 Playhouse, Bristol Riverside Theatre, Delaware Theatre Company, and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. Other theatres include Actors Theatre of Louisville, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Portland Stage Company, Dallas Theatre Center, Peterborough Players, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and Yale Repertory Theatre. She has taught Drama, Improv, and Voice and Speech throughout her career, including classes at Arcadia University, the Walnut Street Theatre, Arden Theatre, and Asolo Repertory Theatre. She was on the faculty of the Youth Performing Arts High School in Louisville, KY, and the Kentucky Governor’s School For the Arts. She also taught and directed at P.S. 87 in Queens, NY, Gloucester County Institute of Technology in NJ, and at the Walden Theatre in Louisville, KY. Susan is the recipient of the 2007 Barrymore Award for Best Actress, and holds an MFA from the Yale School of Drama.
